Thing 12? Rollyo and Thing 13 Delicious

I tried to do Rollyo (Thing 12) and the site is undergoing maintenance. I was hoping to explore this one since it sounds interesting with all that I do personally at home with reenacting interests - guns, hunting, history, old hymns, old books related to this research. I hope it is only temporary. Maybe someone knows if this has been going on for awhile and I just chose the wrong day. I may do further research myself to see. Rollyo offered an alternative called http://addictomatic.com/ and I think I like it better than Google Reader and the RSS Feeds for news. There is more selective control especially when it comes to dealing with the endless repetition of feeds even after you mark them as read. (See Thing 22 for the alternative assignment I did as a substitute for Rollyo.)

So I moved onto number 13 and the Del.icio.us video is no longer available and the other resources links are the same way.

I will try to understand it through PLCMCL2 account noted and from Delicious' own explanations. I imported my bookmarks to Delicious but since they are work related I chose to make them private. I will do this from home with my personal several hundred bookmarks and work at organizing and deleting many of them and tagging others. While at work and (at home), I do find many links which I share with others so this should be interesting as I expand on what I learn at work and apply it to the fun things I do at home. I can see how it could be useful to share bookmarks/tags but since I do not plan to set this up on the information desk's computer, I will still email websites that I discover while working to my home computer to explore in more detail. I will explore tags at home because the ones that came up currently are too generic to make searching and sharing interesting. I did read some of the posts from PLCMCL regarding the staff summaries of 23 Things.
